This weekly, half hour program replaced Citizen’s Forum, the successful panel show discussing current events. It debuted in 1955. This show was re-vamped under the auspices of the Canadian Association for Adult Education, but the format was essentially the same.
Frank McGee led the panel for the first two seasons, while Charles Lynch of Southam News chaired the panel in the last year. Subjects ranged from the Quebec question, English-French relations in Canada, the status of foreign aid and international events involving such places as East Berlin and Czechoslovakia.
