Lynette Jennings Homeworks

Network: CBC Television Network

Broadcast Run: 1990 to 1995

Broadcast Medium: Television

Aired weekly at 1pm, from October 1, 1990 to September 23, 1995.

This 30-minute program about interior design featured Lynette Jennings and was one of the first television shows of its kind on CBC. Often compared to Martha Stewart, Jennings was from the United States where she studied architecture at the University of Michigan and performing arts at DePaul. In 1971 she relocated to Canada and started her own design company.

This series featured Jennings offering any number of design ideas, all within easy reach of the “do-it-yourself” homeowner. Jennings went on to produce a show at the Discovery Channel called Lynette Jennings Design.
