This variety show was produced in Winnipeg featuring the charming and talented Diane Stapley. She was a singer of some repute in Canada and this was her first and last regular variety show on CBC.
Even though the show was promoted heavily on the network, its production values suffered, despite the producers’ efforts to inject various new elements, whether torch songs or show tunes. Guests included Leon Bibb, Gordon Pinsent, Tom Gallant, Dinah Christie and Dean Regan. The show was produced by Dave Robertson.
