Singer-songwriter Tommy Ambrose was one of the CBC’s most popular performers in the 1960s and 70s. He often had music specials, but this was a dedicated half hour music-variety series under his name. The show featured an orchestra conducted by Lucio Agostini, an 8-voice choir directed by Gordon Kushner and choreography by Glen Gibson. Musical arrangements were by Rick Wilkins. Ambrose was at home with any musical genre, be it gospel, jazz, blues or pop.
