Aired Thursday nights in June of 1974.

This half hour music program was part of a collective series known as 5X3 [five by three]. It featured regional programs during the summer months in 1974. A Time to Sing was the title of the Vancouver segment. It was hosted by Bill Hosie, a Scottish-born actor and singer, and Laurie Valleau, a young talent from Chemainus, BC.

The Bob Hales Orchestra provided musical accompaniment. Individual programs included appearances by the co-host’s sister Dorothy Hosie, Pat Hervey, and a 140-voice choir from the Royal View Elementary School in Victoria.
