The animated adventures of Rupert Bear, a beloved British comic which ran in England’s Daily Express for more than 80 years, came to television through Nelvana studios which was licensed to create the series for worldwide distribution and produced six seasons of the show.
Characters included Rupert Bear (voiced by Ben Sanford), Bill Badger (Torquil Campbell), Pong Ping (Oscar Hsu), Podgy Pig (Hadley Kay), Tiger Lily (Stephanie Morgenstern), Mr. Bear (Guy Bannerman) and Mrs. Bear (Lally Cadeau).
