This half-hour program examined Canada through the eyes of eight young videographers, who had been discovered through a talent search. It was co-produced by the CBC and Why Not Productions Inc. The purpose of the series was to provide viewers with a unique look at Canada’s diversity, without the baggage of a big budget and experienced journalists. It was very much guerilla filmmaking: raw, unpretentious and unfiltered. The eight videographers, all between the ages of 18 and 25, were chosen on a regional basis and asked to record their journeys across Canada.
