Originally a 15 minute music program called Souvenirs, the show was expanded to 30 minutes with a name change. It was produced in Halifax.
The show was dedicated to music for strings, sometimes light classics, and familiar titles for viewers of all ages. The orchestra was led by Gordon MacPherson of the Maritime Conservatory of Music. Arrangements were by Dave Woods, Lucio Agostini and Eddie Graf. Regular guests included Francis Chaplin on violin, Phyllis Ensher on harp, Carol Hughes on piano, soprano Jean Marshall, and folk singer Ed McCurdy.
