David Ouchterlony of the Royal Conservatory of Music, in Toronto, discussed principles of music for children in this well-received 30 minute program. The show’s success relied on Ouchterlony’s own ability to communicate and demonstrate music in a simple way that didn’t talk down to the viewer. The show’s content featured an informal mix of theory and appreciation. Ouchterlony later hosted a nightly classical music program on CFRB radio in Toronto.
