Aired Monday evenings, for three weeks in July 1973. Aired Saturday nights from July 13 to October 5, 1974.
This half hour musical variety show aired three times in 1973 and was so popular with viewers that it was renewed for eight more weeks a year later. The show was produced in Winnipeg by Dave Robertson. Robertson hired four of the strongest performers in a local production of Jacques Brel is Alive and Well and Living in Paris. The four were Jim Martin, Diane Stapley, Ruth Nichol, and Pat Rose. Martin was replaced by Brent Carver in the second series.
Pat Withrow was the show’s writer, and Dean Regan choreographed the musical numbers.
