Aired Saturday afternoons during the summer of 1977.
John Wells and Russ Thornberry acted as guides for this series of 8 half hour programs about the great outdoors. The series was produced in Edmonton and made excellent use of the surrounding countryside to introduce viewers to outdoor activities including canoeing, fly fishing, camping, backpacking, etc.
Thornberry was a columnist for the Edmonton Journal. John Wells later went on to call the play-by-play for CFL games on The Sports Network, among other duties.
