Friday the 13th: The Series

Network: Global Television Network

Broadcast Run: 1990 to 1994

Broadcast Medium: Television

Well-known Canadian actors Chris Wiggins, Robey and John D. LeMay star in this action/suspense series. Cousins Micki Foster (Louise Robey) and Ryan Dallion (John D. LeMay) had no idea what they were in for when their uncle Lewis willed them an antique store. Lewis had made a pact with the Devil that cursed every item in the store. Through the powers of the cursed antiques, characters discover they can get their heart’s desire, if they are willing to pay the price. Some of the antiques enable them to do great good – compose beautiful music, create a magnificent ballet, cure diseases and save lives. But there was always a fatal downside. Micki and Ryan teamed up with Jack Marshak (Chris Wiggins), an eccentric dealer in antiquities, to try to retrieve each deadly curio before it was too late.

Produced in Canada but primarily shown on the U.S. FOX Network, the program was very popular in Mexico and Japan. It was eventually seen in Canada on Global Television.
