E.N.G.

Network: CTV Television Network

Broadcast Run: 1990 to 1993

Broadcast Medium: Television

Electronic News Gathering, the shooting of news stories on tape instead of film, provided the initials for this series’ title. E.N.G. was set in a fictitious Toronto television station’s newsroom, and explored the lives of the staff of the station as they covered the dramatic and mundane happenings of the city. No attempt was made to disguise the Toronto location.
