Aired Saturday afternoons from April to June 1962, with repeats in 1963 and 1970.

Produced by The National Film Board of Canada in association with the CBC, this was the first real attempt to document Canada’s participation in World War II. It featured newsreels and photographs from the era, as well as interviews with veterans. Thirteen episodes made up the series which covered the years 1936 to 1946.
