Aired Thursday evenings from May 30 to August 29 1974; aired Sundays at various times, from July 13 1975 to August 19, 1979. Aired Monday afternoons from April 1980 to October 1982.
Access was based on the BBC series called Open Circle. The program was produced with public participation. It was airtime provided by the CBC for groups and organizations to present their views on the issues of the day. CBC supervised the productions, but most of the work on each program was in a particular group’s hands. The show was also known as CBC Access and Take 30 Access.
