Shot on location on the Kingston Peninsula in New Brunswick, Blue Rainbow was a half-hour children’s series that promoted how life was exciting, wonderful and worth exploring through song, storytelling and puppetry. Producer Lutia Lausane also played a variety of characters including Mama Gaia, Lil, Tina and Willie. As Mama Gaia she welcomed children to the outdoor set as she walked around, telling stories. The set included a garden, forest well and path, tree house, fire pit, a glen overlooking the water, a rough wooden veranda and a cosy kitchen.
