This timeslot offered viewers recent Canadian feature films, many of which had been poorly distributed in conventional movie houses. Athan Katsos coordinated the program. Brian Linehan, a movie critic and popular host on CITY-TV, introduced the first season, while Gordon Pinsent served as host of the 1983 edition of the series.
Featured titles included The Silent Partner, State of Shock, Murder By Decree, Wild Horse Hank, Suzanne, Mr. Patman, Klondike Fever, Title Shot and Outrageous.
Heartaches, The Changeling, The Magic Show, Bear Island, The Hounds of Notre Dame, Les Bons Debarras, Les Plouffes, and Circle of Two were screened during the second season.
