George Woodcock was the writer and narrator of this nine-part series about the South Pacific. Viewers were taken to Fiji, Tonga, Western Samoa, New Caledonia, the New Hebrides and the Gilbert Islands to see what life was like for the people of the region. The show was produced by Glenn Babineau from Vancouver, with William Brayne on camera.
Woodcock’s exploits were detailed in a book issued in 1976, titled: South Sea Journey.
