Aired Friday mornings from July 17 to August 14, 1970. Repeated Thursday mornings from August 13 to September 10, 1970.

Manitoba 100 was a series of half-hour programs celebrating the centenary of the province’s entry into Confederation. The series was produced in Winnipeg and traced the economic, political and cultural history of Manitoba from 1870 to 1970. Don Robertson produced the show with commentary by Maurice Burchell. The series was written by Eric Wells.

Episodes:
1] A Blot on the Horizon, which looked at the early explorers.

2] New Horizons described the early settlers and the conflicts between the English and Metis.

3] Tarnished Sunset looked at the formation of the province in 1870.

4] Destiny examined the years between 1870 to 1910.

5] Boom or Bust concluded the history to 1970.
