This one hour time slot was dedicated to various programs from music shows to documentaries; drama to public affairs.
Some of the highlights included Ballet High, featuring the music of Lighthouse, a jazz-rock band; Humperdinck’s opera Hansel and Gretel starring Maureen Forester; Puccini’s opera La Rondine, produced by Norman Campbell ,and a concert by the Toronto Symphony Orchestra. Glenn Gould also performed the music of Beethoven on one episode.
The history series called The Tenth Decade also aired in this time slot for 8 weeks in October of 1971.
