A forum of opinion and commentary, at five minutes and fifty seconds, for spokespeople and writers and broadcasters. Developed by Eugene Hallman in the l950s, it lasted for eighteen years as a regular follow-up to the national news broadcast at the end of each weekday. Producers included Gordon Bruce (l966-68), Donald McNeill (l968- 69), Nicholas Steed (l969-72), and Ian Murray (l973-76).
