This music program was hosted by Marg Osburne, the unpretentious singer from the hit show Don Messer’s Jubilee. Produced in Halifax, the program showcased talent from Atlantic Canada and featured the usual roster of guests including John Allan Cameron, Wilf Carter, Anne Murray, Gene McLellan, Kenzie McNeil, Stompin’ Tom Connors, Stan Rogers, Patsy Gallant, Jim Bennet, Shirley Eikhard, Catherine McKinnon, Ken Tobias and Noel Harrison.
The show had a mix of new and old tunes and featured a studio band led by Paul Mason. Jack O’Neil produced the series. Regrettably, Osburne died on July 16, 1977, bringing the series to an end.
