Network: CBC Television Network
Broadcast Run: 1964
Broadcast Medium: Television
Aired every other Sunday night at 10pm from January 26 to August 9, 1964.
Alternating with Horizon, this program replaced Let’s Face It. The show was a public affairs presentation, not unlike many of the news shows on CBC at that time. The show provided some interesting interviews: British MP Tony Benn, Media giant Roy Thomson, and American writer, Richard Rovere who talked about the Johnson administration.
The show collapsed under its own weight: a newspaper columnist with no television experience and a confused editorial direction. [See Horizon] Not to be confused with a series that ran in 1969.
Host: Gary Lautens
Producer: Barry Harris
