Aired after the 11:00 PM news in the mid-1950s.
During the early years of television, wrestling was a regular favourite on American networks and local Canadian stations. CBC was no exception.
Hosted by Dave Price with Fred Sgambati and Patrick Flanagan, the show was produced in various locations in Toronto: the Palace Pier, the Masonic Temple and Maple Leaf Gardens, the latter location having a regular wrestling card on Saturday nights during the summer. Occasionally, some programs were produced from the studios of CBC and usually included three matches and assorted trash talk from the competitors.
Producers: Wilf Hayden and George Retzlaff
