Ricardo

Network: Société Radio-Canada (SRC) TV Network

Broadcast Run: 2001

Broadcast Medium: Television

On the air since 2001, this program was hosted by Ricardo Larrivée who invited the TV viewer into his kitchen, where every day he prepared tasty dishes intended to meet the needs of today’s TV audience: healthy cooking, dishes prepared in 30 minutes, planning for the week, more refined recipes for the weekend, rich or light desserts… He was assisted by three collaborators – Hélène Laurendeau (nutrition), Christina Blais (food chemistry) and Pierre Gingras (soup chef) – to explore all kinds of new food-related matters.

This program led Ricardo to create his own food magazine, in which he published his recipes. Published eight times a year, its circulation was about 90,000 copies in 2010.
