Buckley Petawabano launched aboriginal community station CINI-FM, operating on 95.3 MHz with power of 50,000 watts. The station served Mistissini and the Chibougamau and Chapais area of the James Bay region and offered Cree-language programming. CINI was the only local commercial FM station in the area.
