On October 26, the CRTC approved the application by Corporation de Radio Montagnaise de La Romaine for a broadcasting licence for a French- and Montagnais-language FM radio programming undertaking at La Romaine, on the frequency 90.1 MHz, channel 211, with an effective radiated power of 1 watt. The station would broadcast 78 hours of weekly programming, of which 61 hours would be locally-produced. The remainder would be received from the Société de Communication Attikamekw Montagnais network.
