CINB-FM , Christian, Saint John
On May 10, Newsong Communications (Donald E. Mabee) was granted a licence for a new low-power Christian music station at Saint John, operating on 96.1 MHz with 50 watts effective radiated power.
Early in the year, CINB “Newsong FM” began broadcasting.

On June 13 the CRTC renewed CINB-FM’s licence until August 31, 2013.
