2002

On December 10, Assiniboine Campus-Community Radio Society Inc. was given approval to operate a community-based campus FM station in Brandon. The new station would broadcast an average of 126 hours of programming during each broadcast week. Programming would feature alternative music including an eclectic mix of jazz, folk, classical, worldbeat and cutting edge new music from other popular musical genres. The station would broadcast with an effective radiated power of 930 watts on a frequency of 106.5 MHz.

CJJJ-FM “CJ 106” signed on the air. Studios and offices were at 1430 Victoria Avenue East in Brandon.

2009

On June 9 the CRTC renewed CJJJ-FM’s licence to August 31, 2011.

2011

On August 31, the CRTC administratively renewed the licence for CJJJ-FM to December 31, 2011.

2012

On August 28, the CRTC administratively renewed the licence of CJJJ-FM to December 31, 2012. On December 14, the licence was renewed until August 31, 2019.
