The headliner of one of the last 15 minute musical variety shows to air on the network, singer Peggy Neville was one of the stars of Red River Jamboree, broadcast from Winnipeg.
The program featured country music with a cross-section of contemporary pop tunes performed by Peggy and her special guests. Bob McMullin was the music director. Guests included Laurel Ward, Bobbi Sherron, Joyce Hahn, Reg Gibson, Ed Evanko and Lenny Breau.
