Pamela Wallin was one of Canada’s most familiar journalists and interviewers. She launched her television career at CTV as the co-host of Canada AM. She started at CBC as the co-anchor of Prime Time News in 1992. In 1995 she left to start her own production company and offered this daily show to CBC Newsworld that became a featured program in the schedule. Wallin’s interviewing skills were finely honed. She was able to talk about any subject effectively, be it pop culture, politics, arts and technology. By the fifth season, the show was reduced to a half hour broadcast and finally re-vamped as Pamela Wallin & Company in January of 2000 on a weekly basis. In June 2002, Prime Minister Jean Chretien appointed Wallin as Canada’s Consul General in New York City.
