The New Addams Family was an updated version of the popular mid-sixties series about a decidedly off-beat family who resided in an eerie mansion. The ghoulish characters were pitted against the mundane world – including the mailman, the school board and the truant officer. They thought of themselves as a normal family, but to others they were seen as strange to downright frightening
