This series, whose first 30-minute episode was aired on January 8, 2001, totalled 39 episodes in all, and was regarded as one of the most striking dramatic series in Canadian television at the time.
Scripted by the writer Stéphane Bourguignon and directed by Patrice Sauvé, this TV soap opera featured five friends in their thirties that the audience got to know through their romantic adventures, their work, their existential crises, their successes and their financial problems and personal failures. The series became a cult show for an entire generation, and gave the TV soap opera genre a new lease on life.
The leading actors who shared the star billing were Normand Daneau, Macha Limonchik, Julie McClemens, Patrick Labbé and Vincent Graton.
