With what would now be regarded as a politically incorrect title, this Canadian Hee-Haw country music look-alike unfortunately did not have the staying power of its antecedent. The efforts of host Blake Emmons, and the resident cast of Monica Parker, Linda Renhoffer, Valri Bromfield, John Evans, Ben Gordon and Jank Zajfman could not hide the paucity of strong material.
Produced for CTV at CFTO-TV in Toronto, the half-hour Funny Farm series enjoyed a brief one-year existence, debuting in September 1974 on Thursdays at 7:00pm and sucking its last straws a year later.
