On May 21st 2013 the CBC announced that a new one-hour crime drama would be added to the Network schedule in the fall. Crossing Lines would be an action-packed series about a police unit that “specialises in cross-border crimes and brings global criminals to justice”.
Casting announced included William Fichtner, Donald Sutherland, Marc Lavoine, Gabriella Pession, Moon Dailly, Richard Flood and Tom Wlaschiha.
