Aired afternoons, Monday through Friday, from October 1966, to October 1967.
This was a daily game show, loosely based on the successful American show called Password, with Allen Ludden.
In Communicate, one member of a team had to guess the name of a person or thing based on one-word clues. The teams competed in a best-of-three format, with the winner getting a cash prize. Celebrity players often made up the teams. Actor Tom Harvey was the first host of the show, later succeeded by Bill Walker, who also hosted Flashback and the Party Game. Guest panelists included Frances Hyland and Paxton Whitehead from the Shaw Festival, Libby Christensen and Jimmy Tapp and Cliff Robertson and Jane Morgan from the United States.
