Series producer Rosalind Farber and its director Flemming Nielsen hand-picked the Canadian short films that made up this series. With few creative restrictions, the program showcased independent Canadian filmmakers with a little help from the National Film Board of Canada.
Featured movies included Rouli Roulant by Claude Jutra, considered by many as one of the finest filmmakers to come from Quebec. Op Hop by Pierre Hebert, Sebring by Claude Fournier, Free Fall by Arthur Lipsett, People Might Laugh At Us by Jacques Godbout, Tom Daly’s 2 1/2 and Zero to Max by Ron Wiseman.
