This hour-long drama was a Fogbound Films Inc. and Topsail Entertainment Ltd. production in association with the CBC and with the participation of Telefilm Canada, the Nova Scotia Film Development Corporation and the Canadian Television and Cable Production Fund.
It was the story of Katherine Hubbard, a restaurateur in Los Angeles, who took her family back home to Black Harbour, Nova Scotia to start a new, adventurous life. Rebecca Jenkins starred as Katherine Hubbard. Geraint Wyn Davies played her husband, Nick and Alex Carter played her High School sweetheart, Paul.
