This half-hour drama series focused on the lives of a group of 20-year-olds who shared a studio apartment in Toronto. Epitome Pictures Inc produced it in association with the CBC. Linda Schuyler, who created the De Grassi series, produced Liberty Street for two seasons. It featured Pat Mastroianni, Reiner Schwarz, Kimberly Huie, Katherine Ashby, Melissa Daniel, Richard Zeppiari and Billy Merasty. The writing team consisted of William Flaherty and Andrea Moodie. Directors included Bruce MacDonald, Paul Lynch, Gail Harvey and Alex Chapple.
