Aired weekly, at various times, from January 8, 1986 to May 30, 1992.
This half-hour science program was aimed at kids 12 and up. It was hosted by the effervescent Bob McDonald, who started his teaching career as a lecturer at the Ontario Science Centre in Toronto. His unique ability to simplify the complexities of science made the show highly educational and interesting, as he took viewers through various experiments. McDonald was also the host of Quirks & Quarks on CBC Radio and was often seen on CBC news discussing the latest space satellite missions. This show also inspired two books by McDonald, titled Wonderstruck I and Wonderstruck II. In September of 2005, McDonald returned to television to host a program on TVOntario called Heads Up!
