A humourous entertainment show taking its inspiration from current events, Les Couche-tard starred hosts Jacques Normand and Roger Baulu. The program was broadcast Saturday night after La Soirée du hockey. Despite this late time slot, Les Couche-tard managed to keep a good part of the audience thanks to the biting humour of its two hosts.
The program’s musical theme had been composed by the writer-composer-performer Jean-Pierre Ferland. The show was broadcast from 1960 to 1970. Two directors were associated with the show: Jacques Bissonnette from 1960 to 1967, and Fernande Chouinard from 1968 to 1970.
