Aired Wednesday nights during the summer of 1978; aired Tuesday nights during the summers of 1979 and 1980.
This was a public affairs program that dealt with all things Rural. Its focus on the modern farmer was a little narrower then Country Canada, offering viewers a more detailed look into the production of food. But the program featured members of the Country Canada production team, including Sandy Cushon.
Three of the first five shows concerned beef and cattle farming in Ontario and Alberta. Other shows detailed the tomato farm of Don Walker, Donaldo Ziraldo’s winery in Niagara [Inniskillen] and a livestock operation in Quebec.
