Aired Saturday nights, after hockey, from October 1976 to January, 1977.
This comedy show filled the time slot between Hockey Night in Canada and The National. Broadcast LIVE, if the game went long, the producers could cut scenes or sketches from the show in order to accommodate the news cast. In fact, the very first show was under 10 minutes in length.
The program featured a cast of Second City alumnae and special guests. In the regular cast were Eugene Levy, Jayne Eastwood, Ben Gordon and Mary Ann McDonald. Nancy White, John Kastner and the Homemade Theatre Co. made guest appearances during the series.
The series was written by Bob Sandler and produced and directed by Nigel Napier-Andrews.
