This half hour program was produced in Winnipeg by Rudy Gijzen. It took its name from a local CBLT show in Toronto. That show aired in 1970 and 1971, featuring stories about local tourist attractions.
In 1974, On Location featured the RCMP barracks in Regina, the Rainbow Stage, the Canadian Forest Rescue Squad base, a visit to HMS Lord Selkirk II and the Morris Stampede.
