This 13 week series explored the history of medicine from Leonardo Da Vinci to Sir William Osler. It was presented by William Gibson, the curator of the Woodward Medical Library at the University of British Columbia.
Rather than dipping into the science of medicine, the series explored the evolution of health care. For example, Frank Wesbrook was profiled: he developed the ambulance. Other shows featured Florence Nightingale, Charles Sheffington and William Harvey.
The show was produced, in colour, by Keith Christie in Vancouver.
