This ten minute segment of Upside Town was a television quiz for Grade 7 students in the Toronto region. It was expanded to a full half-hour in the spring of 1968 and pitted students against other students, rather than schools, which was the format of Reach For The Top.
Lloyd Robertson, who hosted the show, called a student each week by telephone from somewhere in Canada to aid in the challenge, thereby offering a kind of national flavour to the game. This segment was known as the National Telephone Quiz. The show also had a Who Am I? segment, an isolation booth and other games of skill.
