The CBC’s commitment to amateur sport included contracts with the Canadian Intercollegiate Athletic Union (CIAU), featuring athletes from Canadian universities. This two hour telecast had the latest competitions in men’s and women’s sports and was often allowed to over-run in the event of a final or playoff game. Don Goodwin was host and producer of the series.
