Aired Monday to Friday during the Christmas break from December 22 1969 to January 2, 1970. Aired Saturday afternoons from October 1970 to June 1975.
What started as a holiday program for kids turned into a successful weekly show with feature films from around the world. The host was Bob Homme, aka The Friendly Giant, who welcomed viewers into his own screening room at the castle. Canadian pictures were also an important part of the mix.
