Aired Sunday afternoons from April to June 1966, continuing in October to December 1966. Host William Ronald, artist and member of the Toronto group called Painters Eleven, introduced contemporary artists to viewers. The program featured profiles of painter Marcel Duchamp, sculptor Henry Moore, composer John Cage, actor William Hutt, painter Larry Rivers, painter Jack Chambers, poet James Reaney, politician Judy LaMarsh and playwright Arnold Wesker.
The half hour program aimed to be as innovative in presentation as the subjects they discussed. A quartet of studio musicians featuring Ed Bickert, added to the experimental nature of the show.
