Aired Sunday afternoons from January to March, 1962; Saturday nights from August to October, 1962; Sunday nights during the summer of 1963.

Produced in Vancouver, British Columbia, this local program found a national audience on the network as a summer replacement. The show featured half-hour documentaries on subjects pertaining to the region, but it also had a number of interesting historical pieces based on world history.

The first of these was the Spanish Civil War, as dramatized by George Woodcock. This 3 part series was followed by Here There Be Giants, which was the story of Bering and Mackenzie, who explored the west coast of Canada and Alaska.

Other projects in the series included Victoria 100, a two part profile of the provincial capital written by George Robertson, and Rhodes Scholarships, written by William McCarthy.

The final instalments included a look at space medicine, architecture, the discovery of the Nile river, the Wright Brothers and bush pilots in Canada.
